What sets Max Brenner apart is its creative menu. Whether you're indulging in the Strawberry Chocolate Dip (A$20.79)—a sumptuous combination of fresh strawberries paired with velvety chocolate—or enjoying their kid-friendly selection like the Belgian Waffle adorned with sprinkles and mini marshmallows (A$18.19), every dish embodies the essence of fun and indulgence. The Kid's Pancake and Sundae options are just as equally enticing for younger patrons, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
For those who crave a chilled treat, Max Brenner offers an impressive range of iced drinks that seamlessly blend their signature chocolate with expertly crafted coffee. The Iced Mocha (A$15.59) is a must-try, marrying the rich depth of chocolate with aromatic coffee—a perfect lift in the warmth of Sydney’s sun.
The ambiance here is equally charming, with a spacious seating area perfect for getting together with friends as echoed in Queen L's review: “One of my favourite places to spend time with friends.” However, some customers noted that service tends to be basic at times, emphasizing the need for improvement. Stephen, a dedicated staff member, has made a memorable impression on guests, showcasing that a warm smile can often outweigh a few shortcomings in service.
Don’t overlook the fondue experience, often considered a highlight, particularly among those eager to create a lasting memory with friends. Reviewers like Chee Wai Wong recommend trying both the milk and dark chocolate options, emphasizing the unique textural pleasure of the suckao. Weekend visits are even more delightful with special promotions—what better reason to treat yourself and others!

“ One of my favourite places to spend time with friends. Tried their new Pistachio milkshake. Good flavour but it was too sweet. ”
“ Me and my friend had two different hot chocolate one with waffle balls and other with whipped cream. It was good, not too bad not too great. ”
“ 18/1/25 - 3 stars A pretty popular dessert café chain specialising in chocolate. Great location in world square though service is just the basics. Ultimate fondue Chocolate: S+, 8.5/10. Very rich and gooey but a bit too sweet and dense after a while Toppings: B, 6/10. Honestly would have liked something more bland so I can just appreciate the chocolate more instead of more sweet things Value: B, 6/10. $50 ”
“ The coffee tasted bad and wasn’t even hot. The tables weren’t cleaned due to a lack of staff. However, giving less than 5 stars would be unfair to Stephen’s dedication. Five stars—just for you, Stephen. ”
“ Conveniently located in World Square, this branch of Max Brenner is spacious and of course, serves deliciously good chocolate. So good I came back twice. The suckao is something nice to try if it's your first time here. I also ordered strawberry dip and strawberry cup and the fondue. The milk chocolate sauce is obviously very good but you should really try their dark chocolate too (not that bitter). Note that they have special promos on Mondays and you can get some cups at only $6.99 which is unbelievable!! Will be back again!! ”
